"Quibble-me-ree at the quimbling hour, what kind of description befits this away-with-the-pixies gaggle of grimmlewits?"
"I came here not knowing you at all, now I love you! You were a breath of fresh air!"
"I saw you for the first time last weekend at Something Else. You were uhhrrr...something else!! Thank you. Brilliant!!"
"...followed up by the very qwerky Quercus Burlesque, who played with a strange assortment of instruments and even stranger lyrics, if you like folk music and want to listen to something different I would recommend listening to their stuff online."
"Quercus Burlesque's gorgeously organic sounds, which seems to epitomise the bohemia of Aberystwyth"
"During the evening, I caught part of a set by a band called (I think) Quercus Burlesque, the highlight of which was a song entitled “Tufty Gusset” - all about about a rather naughty lady squirrel with an errant desire to shake her furry tush and to show off her tufty bits to all the other woodland animals . . . guaranteed to make all the little male squirrels want to go into a dark hollow and polish their nuts. Missus... Brought a wry smile to all the adults listening anyway, including me."
"Tone D' Lowerer has greeaat diction!!"

"the unique, enchanting storytelling rhymes and wordsmithery of Quercus Burlesque. I will be looking out for gigs by these folk in the future. I want more!"
"QUERCUS BURLESQUE... brilliantly ramshackle, with the weirdest percussion I’ve yet seen, and also the maddest attired. Imagine The Archers set in the alternative communities of West Wales instead of redneck farming country, with run-ins with the old bill and chaotic parties being the everyday tales. QB’s songs were mini-plays, vignettes, often with a three-chord garage-thrash background, except played on acoustic guitar."
"(we) still have your lyrics in our heads. Amazing music and a very special band..."
